Hi All,
I have a number of Raq 4's units they will be loaded with a fully patched as per sun updates. The units are from an ex hosting company.
Units are £100 ea ono + shipping payable by paypal.

I Also have a number of spare parts, feel free to PM me with your requirements.

What would shipping be to Canada for a unit?

What spare parts do you happen to have?

I have fans, psu's, cases, front panels, switch panels. and 4R and 4I motherboards.
not sure on shipping to canada would have to price it up, where in canada ? I will check on the parceforce website.

What's the difference between a 4i and a 4r

The ra4r supports raid level 1 and i believe the 4i does not, zeffie would
be better to enlighten you on this, but that is is as far as I understand it.

Is there any way to get a 4i to support RAID-1? It has dual IDE channels (so in theory can support at a minimum up to four IDE hard drives - though not in the 1-unit high case!), so unless there is a specific hardware difference, the only thing missing in a 4i would be either a firmware change or additional software packages to get RAID working.

Hi, on the question of raid I'm not sure as the raq use software raid as opposed to hardware raid, again best man to ask is zeffie as he is god where these things are concerned. post him a pm and he will answer you in time he is a very approachable.

As to BBcodes i'm not actually sure what you mean by this, can you elaborate?

PM's are disabled at the moment unfortunately. I'm sure that Zeffie will respond soon. I've purchased a Raq4 restore CD image (one of Zeffie's upgraded ones with the MC/Visa PCI compliance certification) and still waiting on the info to download that also.

Had a scout round on the net, couldnt fid anything specific abou raq 4i and raid but when I was installing one I noticed it identiefies raid so am not sure. try getting zeffie on yahoo he is on most days.

But yea, use the Grand Exchange, sells pretty fast and nobody looks here anymore anyway.
